Default mods and upgrades

My 95 z went down about three years ago. I have most of the parts I want to go back on it. electric water pump, cold air, off road-y, LT4 cam kit, and a set of 2.02/1.60 valves. I want to replace the opti along with the coil and maybe add an ignition box. a friend told me I may want to swap the fuel pressure regulator and injectors. I am not changing displacement or compresion just freshening up the original bottom end.

it would be a good idea to move up to 30lb injectors, are u having the heads done ported and polished? probly want to go with a 52mm tb. 58 if u have the intake done. what kind of exhaust do u have? u will not get the full potential of the motors inprovments with out some headers, free flow cats and cat back exhaust.

I plan on p&p the heads. gasket matching the intake my self. i have a three in y no cats and a no name muffler. I will have to get the headers later. I just need the car to run rite. I am the proud daddy of 13 day old twins. I need a second vehicle now.

If you just want it running you won't need to swap injectors. If you're trying to make power you'll want to upgrade to 28 or 30 pound injectors. I personally don't think your cam is big enough to necessitate a new TB, not yet anyway, and for sure not to get it running...

By the way, congrats on the twins!

So even with the bigger valves I won't starve the car for fuel. I was told the TB will handle about four hundred.

stock throttle body will handle about 350rwhp(at least thats when i'd start thinking about changing things). and there's really no point in going with a 52mm TB, i'd just go with a 58 if i'm going to do it and have the intake ported at the same time.

with the hotcam kit, 30# svo injectors would be more than sufficient
