Update crank code and not running still trouble shot wiring from computer to crank sensor everything good. Computer removed and installed in 1997 firebird and guess what same problem as in my car. Next thing to do is find a computer. Hope it fixes my problem. No I did not install his computer in mine incase my wiring was the cause of it going bad.

Well if you go to PCMs for less you can pick up a new computer and get it tuned at the same time!.

As for timing you can't set it it's computer controlled correct? And as for the Opti. On the third one. So now it led me to the PCM which is why I removed it and installed Ina 1997 firebird. Same problem showed in that car. Would stat running past 6 seconds and had to use full throttle just to stay at idle

max we are talking about the timing chain and gears. lining up the dots can be difficult but with the different offsets a guy can get it wrong pretty easy.

The machine shop installed dot to dot. And the the performance shop also verified dot to dot after they correctly degreed the cam. I'm just hoping that it's my computer (PCM) that's bad. It did the exact same thing in another car we put my PCM in a 1997 firebird. We did not install his PCM in mine to verify though because I didn't want to take the chance of burning his up in my car I I had a short some where. So after computer was removed we shot wires to make sure they were good.

My guess is when we first put everything together and used the jet tuner software it fried the PCM. So they extra work of tearing all down was for not. Even though we found the Cam was isntalled 2 degrees retarded. So we fix that but I doubt that was the cause. I believe now it's the PCM. it's had a p0335 p0336 which are the crankshaft position sensors codes from day one after new install. But you would have to read the full post to understand why we trouble shot in full circles. The problem not is car will not stay on more than 6 seconds with out depressing throttle to full. And yes we change opti and wires again after re-decreeing the cam.

If your suggesting that I pull the timing cover again and verifying dot to dot I can do that again before we put everything back on the front. Right now the water pump and stuff are still off because I got tired of buying gaskets over and over lol.

Or if someone has another suggestion other than me going to junk yards tomorrow to find a PCM for a test because my PCM has been discontinued and if I get an aftermarket on it's a ten day turn around and then I have to put it all together and tow to a dealership because the new PCM has to be flashed

That PCM swap with the results you got was a pretty good cut & dried test.
One thought though, is your car and that Firrybird supposed to take the same PCM?
