I'm not sure I don't have that paper work on me but I do know we called comp cam and order the comp cam roller rocker kit with springs.

perhaps you overtightened the valves? i'm also leaning towards the opti but its new so i'd go back over everything that's been done and make sure you did it exactly right. sometimes when you take on this kind of project, some minor things are overlooked causing massive headaches(ask me how i know).

does the car run okay? just puts down little power?

Don't consider it an opti without codes. Got any low res codes? Optis normally present with either stumbing or hesitation. If your car is running fine but just low on horsepower the problem lies elsewhere.

Not sure exactly but I do know they are comp cam roller rockers and springs. It came in a kit for my specific cam.

The car idles really low the higher when the temp comes up. It does stumble a lot. I've tuned out the o2's but I'm still getting codes. I'm wondering if I have a bad PCM.

im still thinking the accel opti is bad. they are not well known for there reliability. gm performance is good and ive had pretty good luck with msd but couple of the guys on here have not. anyways a failing opti will not always throw a code. most all the time it will but there is that odd occation. were did you get it? ive sent a couple back to summitt and got replacments sent right away. like i said earlier check that pink wire out for any damage. check the plugs to the coil and icm for any issues as well. so did you have the knock sensor tuned out, what happened with that? also may want to have the injectors flow tested. not very costly and will give you an idea of how much fuel your movin.

I'm going to second that. You may have some valves that are set too tight or too loose.
I'd go back and make sure your valve lash is set the "right way", NOT the two-step way Chiltons or Haynes says: http://www.chevyhiperformance.com/te...nfo/index.html

You should use a LT4 knock sensor. The 97's should be an Obd- 2 system and you can use a Obd-2 programmer, scanner to adjust the PCU settings. You may also be exceeding the PCM usable range.
Other things would be the camshaft not indexed right, to retarded.
And over (to much lift for your engine.) camed for the engine.
The old saying is "over carbed and over camed ".
Higher flow fuel pump.
Bad TPS.
Bad IAC.
