Default magna flow exhaust

i have a 1993 camaro with a 1997 350 with a new cam that gives it a 4inch stroke which makes it a 1997 383 engine. i am looking at getting magna flow exhaust for this car only muffler and tip and i want a deep but loud sound. i am completely clueless when it comes to exaust. will someone give me some information on how to pick which mufflers and tips would produce the sound i am looking for and which muffler and tips would simply be the best for this car?

If the engine is really a 383 then the cylinders should be overbored to 4.030" and the stroke should be increased to 3.75" by using a stroker crankshaft. A camshaft will only change the timing and lift of your valves, not displacement.

The Magnaflow is a good system for DD and sleeper cars because it's fairly quiet under 2000RPM and has minimal interior drone. If you're just looking for a deeper and louder sound it would be best to go with a Hooker or Flowmaster catback system for the least amount of cash. The Magnaflow might be a bit too mild for what you want.

a camshaft doesn't increase stroke.

The magnaflow is a fine system and it's stainless. be sure to check streetside auto for pricing as they tend to be the most competitive

I have to agree with everyone about a 4in stroke 383. should be a 3.75 stroke crank.

But as far as magna flow muffler, I run that on my 383 z28. Here are a couple of sound clips

Thes clips are before I fixed my rattling exhaust pipe, if you listen hard on the first video you can hear it. I made a aluminum spacer to pull it off the suport under the car now.

depends on how much money you have to spend. if you have funds i recomend stainless. borla makes an adjustable cat back so you could adjust to your likes. on the high end for cost corsa makes a great cat back that is one of the best as far as low rpm noise reduction and high rpm air flow with very nice sound and minimal drone.

your car sounds awesome numskull!!! i want mine to sound just like it!
and i have considered borla but it runs about $900 for what i want and my budget is more towards $400ish so magna flow is a good option for me and i have heard alot of good stuff about magna flow. so if i am correct the fouteen inch muffler would be alot louder then the 18 or 24 inch mufflers?
