Man, the best place to look for a kit is on ebay, some might be used but you can get them at good prices. But if you want new...they got'em. Check it out and let me know what you find. Hell....i need to check myself and get me one also. You got 1500$ i can borrow...ill pay you back...what?!? I will!

This may be a dumb question, but what exactly does a LT4 intake system do in relation to putting a cold air intake on the car? Which would be the better thing to do? How much would a LT1 to LT4 conversion kit cost and how hard would it be to put on.

a cold air kit and lt4/lt1 intake are completly different things. the cold air kit is what gets the air up to the intake manifold. a lt4 kit usually cost around 2200, but gm stopped production on the lt4 intake for some unknown reason.

The May issue of GM High Tech Performance carries a commercial by Edelbrock advertising Air Gap type FI intake manifold for both the LT1 & Lt4 engines, and hopefully they will cost les than GM parts.
