I read an article about a build up using the same set up and the car was going to run a procharger also. They were able to use everything but the cam. They had to call Comp Cams for a cam made for supercharger applications. You might want to check that out before using that cam.

Typically you run 6-7 pounds of boost, if you want to run anything more you either need pistons that will lower your compression or a head with a larger combustion chamber. I would strongly recommend you to look into aftermarket heads instead of the GMPP heads, you can get a head that flows a lot better for less money, or a head that flows WAY better for the same amount of money if you go with an aftermarket company. Check what AFR and Brodix have to offer.

The main thing that you would need to worry about is the cam profile, so if you get something similar in cam to the LT4 cam, you should be good to go. Most of the heads that you'd be looking at will be a street legal head (i.e. they have a "heat riser") although none of the LT1's had heat risers, so it's not going to make much of a difference. If you do end up getting a "race" head that doesn't have a heat riser just make sure that your car is warmed up before you go to get it tested, the only purpose of the head riser is to get the intake warmed up quicker by siphoning off some hot exhaust gas.
