umm 95 is obd1 and 96 is obd2, completely different ecu's. the 95 does however have a obd2 diognostic plug so the under dash wiring harness may work for the 95 setup but you will still have to deal with the under hood wiring. you would be better off to look for a computer and wiring harnesses from a 96lt1.

The front cover and exhaust manifolds from the 96 engine will have to replace the ones on the 95 engine. The 96 PCM is looking for a crank position sensor, which calls for 96 front cover, and the 96 is looking for dual cats which require changing exhaust manifolds.

what do you mean under the hood wiring? if i just take the lt1 out of the 95 and swap it into th 96 engine bay ill have all the wires from the 95 under the hood of the 96 its the same engine bay correct or are you say like where it goes thru the firewall?
i know ill have to do something about the airbag sensors but if i have a complete donnor car i dont see how the wiring will be such an issue unless im missing something

now you raised a good question. in 96 the camaro switched to a obd2 computer system which is different than the 95 obd 1 with a obd2 plugin for diagonosing. the thing i dont know is if the two are compatable. i guess you will find out.
