Default Lt1 freakout

hey all,

This morning i got in the car and drove to work with absolutely no issues, which is an awesome way to start the day. I got to the office, backed into my spot, and pulled the car out of gear (T56) to let it idle while I finished a phone call. I looked down and watched my car idle at 1150-1250 rpms. I'm no expert... but that seems a tad high to me. So I turned off the a/c and it jumped to almost 1300... Is it just me or is this idling way high?

wat do?

No codes, no lights on the dash, no sign of anything abnormal other than a high idle and now that I'm looking back at my gas receipts my MPGs have been decreasing recently.

Autozone/Oreillys should have the code reader and correct wire harness to hook up to your computer.

$10 bucks aint too bad. Still, it sucks that you would have to pay to get the codes in the first place.
