ls1 or lt1 stoker

Default ls1 or lt1 stoker

i got 4000$ and i can do eather a ls1 or a stoker lt1 what would be best

i don't think $4K is gonna cover either...unless your getting a hell of a deal on the ls1 stuff. LS1 swaps require more than just a motor. LT1 stroker is a possibility on that budget...depending on who is doing the work.

What are your goals? Ls1 is gonna have greater potential...but you can build a great lt1 on a lesser budget.

LT1 stroker is a lot cheaper and much more powerful than doing an LS1 swap. Golen engines sells LT1 stroker short blocks for around $4,000, but you will want to do heads and cam to benefit it.

^^^ x2 you can do the block then wait to do more. be best to have the heads and cam done when motor is out and in pieces.
