why do you want to go with shorties?

i'd go longtubes into a catted y(if you want to keep your cats) and a good flowing catback such as the GMMG you suggested.

true duals sound great, but they're expensive as hell to do. i'd only consider going true duals if i was pushing out great horsepower numbers

whamm, he's in cali so i think he wants to be able to pass emissions. 1660 you will need to keep the cat in the stock location so a y with one cat will be needed to pass inspection.

Well if he lives in Cali then the longtubes are out and you will need to make sure that the shorties are CARB certified and have your sticker info on the car at all times.
