Default LOSS OF POWER please help

I have a 1993 camaro with the 3.4 v6 5 speed it is a work in progress but i have an issue that i can't figure out while driving it sounds like it is sucking in a lot of air or maybe blowing it out on the passenger side of car and i have lost power due to this but while the car is sitting still and you pop the hood when you rev the motor to listin you cant hear this sucking noise

anyone have any ideas

It's possible your cat converter is plugged/restricted, and it gets worse the hotter it gets (the more you drive). If that's the case, exhaust pressure will be getting out anywhere it can, like through the donut gasket, at the manifold gaskets, and any loose gaps or pipe fittings you may have. It may not be doing it in the driveway since the engine and exhaust system had time to cool down some.

Is that opposed to a morn. or aft. valve? Did you mean EGR valve?
