No check engine light. Of course my ignition system, fuel system and computer have been modified so I'm not sure if there would be.

What would restrict my exhaust? The car does like you said, starves for power in the upper rpms. I have a slp header back 3inch set up. Doesn't sound restricted thats for sure

The fact that this all happened at the same time as me running the car low on gas leads me to believe its the fuel pump/filter. The pump wines pretty loud, I wrote it off as being a performance pump...but after the symptoms and what I've read on here...its gotta be the it.

my performance pump is quite, can hear it if engine is not running and you listen for it. truck pump got louder before it failed.

Mine wines as it primes quite loud. I can hear it over my exhaust at idle. When I start the car, it does crank a couple times before it fires...but its the exact same every time. I wrote it off as timing being advanced.

No Cats? if not it is most likely not the exhaust.

Broke the fuel line off in the filter. I blame rust, me not looking at what I was doing for fear of gas in the eye...which led to the wrench slipping off the filter while the other wrench torqued/twisted the line right off. *fail* now its a tow bill and a new fuel line. That's what I get for being ambitious.

All fixed up. It was quite rainy out today so it was tough to tell if I'm still losing power.
