Well this is the first sign of trouble out of my 3.4l.When im cruising at around 35 i hear a popping noise followed bya whoosh of air and it loses power,but just a sec or so after it regains it and starts all over.Any ideas??? On a side note,its not doing it constantly just intermittently.

 

are u just cruisin or accelerating? cause when i accelerate at about 30/35 i hear a poppin 2 and i think mine is coming from my spark plugs cause i checked a couple of them today and two were marked as too hot according to hanes

 

I just changed my plugs 2 days ago so im sure its not them lol But mine does it accelerating or just cruising.

mine does it while im accelerating only it sounds like a backfiring noise
one time when it happened a guy asked if i had a hemi lol
