Default lets talk ls coil conversion... is it right for me?

ok heres my deal, i have a 96 z 6 speed, that i have done plugs and wires on and its still doin a misfire on the cylinders, so now i replace my opti. 250$ for an ac delco, if i have found the cheepest one, or is the ls coil conversion hard to do and how much does it cost in the end? i know there are alot of forms on it but i still dont get it, how do i convert this motor that has one coil and the opti to 8 coils per cylinder? i dont get it, any help or advice is awsome

ps. i figure if i have to replace the opti now is the time to look into the conversion right?

This is the conversion kit: http://www.bailey-eng.com/LTCC.html
Keep in mind that it won't fix a bad opti problem, IF the issue is with the optical reader, since that part of the opti still gets used.
Talk to Greenarrow, I believe he converted his LT1 over to the LTCC.
