Default just another issue

ok to let you knowwhat i have is a 94 z28. i got the new motor from my uncles 96 impala that he had fully built. eagle crank, lunati pistons and rods, bored .30 over ,comp custom cam, crane 1:6 roller rockers, and trick flo heads. now i new that the timming covers were different frm my 94 motor but i thought that the drive setup for the distributor was the same. i also think that the crank hub is a differnt size to. can i use athe 96 distrbutor with my 94 harness or am i going to have to change the whole gear and chain setup? Is the crank hub for the 96 a differnt size then the 94? And is there going to be any other issues i have still to run into with the change. appriate it very much you guys are the **** lol.

u will need to use a 96 style opti. u can get a wire harness adapter from summit or jegs.

the hubs set onto the crank shaft at different depths. i dont think they are a different size but may be. im having problems getting the new hub on my 96 motor. have not had time to look into it yet.

both engines are internally ballanced so either will work. im pretty sure u can use the cover and block the sensor outlet. as long as it fits it should work. try before u install so if u do need a different cover it will be easier to change. let me know i may use a newer cover so its easier to change to a fast ignition setup.
