Got the starter and the exhaust off today. Also removed the valve covers and left exhaust manifold. What do you think?

I knew it would not be good when I drained the oil and got a bucket and a half of pure water. Also drained water off the cylinders when I pulled the plugs. Sorry guys, forgot to mention it was a 94 Z.

Wow rough shape. Can you take a few pics of the body and interior of the car? Are you going o put another LT1 in it or a different engine? You can either find a used one out of a junkyard or a newer one off of ebay from about $800-1500. When it comes to pulling the engine (from the bottom) the sticky at the top of this forum shows and goes into detail on how to exactly do this.

Yeah you have to pull the engine from the bottom from what Ive heard it's not horribly painful to pull. I remember seeing your engine shots when you first got it. Be sure to put that Grantelli Cold air Intake that is on the bad engine on the newer one. That's about a $200 intake setup. I remember what the exterior looks like now It had the square tips. It'll be worth the trouble once you get it going. You'll get your money's worth out of that.

Thanks 94, there was LT1 on Ebay for 999.00, + 250 for shipping, thats a real good deal. I also saw a LT1 and tranny with 70k on them for 1700.00. I will have to wait till next year to do anything else. I am flat broke at the moment, LOL.
