if you are getting an opti shipped for $75 then that is probably just the cap and rotor.may not solve the problem.sometimes it's just corrosion and moisture under the cap but most likely the optical reader.isnt that awefull to change but dont plan on a date in like 2 hours.lol

thats cheap china crap. dont buy it. it may last a yr or two, or it may last a day or two. i would recommend a gm performance opti or if u can afford it a msd. get from a reputable dealer like summit or jegs then u get a warranty.

yea a $70 distributer is to good to be true. i wouldnt buy that. before you go buying things you should prob run some test before wasting time putting new parts in and it end up not working.

today i was driving my car and i pulled out of my driveway and gunned it, it had power then it lost it and gained it again. it was weird but it shifted into second and fell flat on its face. i was looking at the plug wires but i cant seem to see them very good, obviously.

Default think it might be fuel related

Try changing your fuel filter and check you fuel pressure. Hitting that pot hole could have stirred up the dirt and sedament in your fuel tank
