ive had the car for almost two years and ive done research on f-bodies since i was 16. lol. i know how terrible the opti is, im just having trouble with diagnosing my car.

ok,if you have a local autozone,parts plus etc they should be able to check some things for you such as coil,icm.look at your maf.check the elbow going to the throttle body,especially on the underside for rips/tears.check fuel pressure with guage if you have access.fuel filter,all grounds on engine block and at the pcm.sometimes wires will break or short at pcm.behind coil there is a ground stud with 4-5 wires grounded to the block..check em all.just some free checks

lol. yeah those potholes are everywhere. saturday is getting close so if its not raining im gonna spend all day searching. so from the info ive giving it just sounds like something electrical or engine wise, could it be my tranny?
but i dont think the tranny not working would cause it to hesitate, bog, and then start to die and rev itself back up. O_o

also my gas mileage dropped alot.

from the new description u need to check the fuel pressure and take the fuel filter off and see if its full of crud. add to list anyways

from everyone suggestions you have a good long list of places you can check for free with a lil time involved.but get it scanned before buying any major parts.

lol one more update. when it gets warmed up it runs better then when i drive it cold, when its cold i push the gas pedal and it starts die.

all this sounds exactly like what my 94 z28 is doing. i can get an opti for $75 shipped on ebay im gonna start there and pray it works.

by the way how hard is it to change an opti??
