So, I found a 95' Z28 on craigslist for 2,800 dollars. Supposedly it has 70k on the engine and 180k on the body. I currently have a 93' with a 3.4 so I want a Z28. What do you guys think. I am going to see it tomorrow. Are there some Camaro specific problemss I should watch for. Any input would be great thanks.

 

I'd say give it a good test drive. Check for steering slop and brake control. Make sure you get it to operating temp. Check if the check eng lite is on. Look for oil leaks on the ground and the entire engine compartment. Use a flashlight and crawl under if you are able. Check door and hood alignments. You could even run the serial number thru Carfax to see if anything was reported about the vehicle. Good luck

 

also give it a quick rev, not all the way, just out of no where, when its idling tap on the gas quickly and see how responsive it is.

 

When you test drive the car see how it runs in the higher RPMs a miss in the higher RPMs at full throttle is somthing not noticed at first. or atleast I didn'twhen I bought my 95.

 

That you guys for all the responces. I never went and looked at the car. The price scared me. Any Camaro for that cheap has to have major problems. I am going to start looking for a newer LS1 instead. More money, but hey... she'll be worth it.
