i have a 1995 camaro z28 i berly bought the car i dont know if is the trans. or the clutch, the problems starts when im in neutral, the trans starts to grind and in first gear too..after that the car is perfect. i'll appreciate if someone can help me thanks.

 

Transmision Problems are really expensive. If you just bought it you might want to consider taking it back. From Experience, Mine was an auto and cost $2750.00 to put a new tranny in it. [sm=sorry.gif]

 

Whatever you do, put Dexron 6 (not 4) in when you replace the fluid -- it's a MUCH longer life fluid...

 

The grinding going into first is probably due to a bad synchro. Shift to second & back to first, and that should tak care of the grinding. At least till the 2nd gear synchro gives out.
