I plan on it getting 18" C5s (hopefully able to find black ones or powdercoat them black) with drilled/slotted rotors and red calipers. Then moving the rest of the car into paint, going for all black with SS hood, possibly high rise spoiler, with red calipers, SS stripes, and interior accents. Should look pretty sexy when I'm done with it

Awesome man, glad you are able to keep the car !

Do you have any pics of the spoiler you want to purchase ? I think I might be looking at one like it also.

I think this one sets off the car more than the stock spoiler .

I still like that look. Here's my old 94, pardon the crappy rear shot.

you'll be surprised at how good it looks with new wheels. And, unless you plan on hard-core road racing, why go slotted rotors? Just paint your calipers to start and see if that's enough.

As for color, man I love your color and I bet you could really make that shine and stand out. A buff and a shot of clear and I bet it would look awesome unless of course it's faded bad.

A new hood such as a cowl would look great too, or even the SS hood. Oh, don't forget that with our year cars (95 and below) we have to expand the hub of the rims we buy by 1/4 inch in order to fit onto the rear. I had a machine shop do mine but others do it themselves.

I'm running 275 40 17's all around and right now have Toyo Proxes 4 tires.

Basically just for looks, the C5s show a lot of the rotor and slotted/drilled rotors would really dress it all up imo.

She's been given the full spa treatment roughly every six months so she does look pretty good in decent weather

Yup, goin with the SS hood, and really? I didn't know that, they don't make rims fitted already for our cars?

hold on...you went from being forced to sell your car to modding it to the max? you do realize changing the color of a car will cost about 5 grand for a quality job, right?

Not too sure about modding it to the max..but yes, and the paint is the last on the list, I NEED new brakes and tires though, got a gouge in my wheel lip that my guy refuses to replace tires on and I kinda want new wheels anyway. Got a bubble in my ****ty All Seasons.vI'm taking care of what I need to get done with maybe a minor aesthetic upgrade here and there.

I'm still debating on the paint in the first place, to keep this color and just colormatch the new hood and spoiler or just put a whole new color on there. But yah I am aware of the costs, over time I'll be able to get it all done.

here you go, $230 per hole for brand spanking new wheels, tires and shipping already mounted and balanced.

you would need to open the holes for the 2 rears by 1/4 inch. Some folks have used a file or dremel. I paid a machine shop.
