sorry its the tv cable. heres the directions i have for mine. same as my 97 truck so should be same for u. tranys slipping now or not ingaging. well try this and see if it helps.

so i just pull the tab up and pull the cable all the way towards the back of the car the push the tab back down? sounds simbple enough

the one with the pull tab is for the cruse control. the one with the push release is the tv cable. u push on the square button and slide the **** that the cable comes out of in all the way. let up on the button. then, using the linkage on the tb, not the cable, move the throttle to wide open position. it will not move easy and u will hear a racheting noise as it slides. once to the wot position its set.

well i dont see it in the picture so yours must be different than mine. must work off the throttle position sensor.

well crap lol i didnt see it eiather i changed the TPS about a month ago just took the old one off and slaped the new one on..is there a special way to put it on

The 4L60E (E=electronic shift) doesn't have a TV cable.

well we will see what happens tommowor wish me luck i hope it does it if not then it might be engine related ??? or the shift solenoids ? bare in mind it started after pressing the brakes to many times in 10 min

good luck. no i dont think it has anything to do with the motor. i think its either the in the trans, the converter or the computer.
