Default High rev

Tax return from past years comes in beginning of april. Might be time to build a high revving motor. Its about 3k. If I can get it to 7500 on the stock internals what can and head setup would you guys recommend. Does ai have a setup like this? Any thoughts?

i dont see stock internals lasting long reving at 7500. 3 k is not going to last long. is the motor stock? any add ons? heads, cam, intake and supporting add ons will take 3 k or more.

Ive been reading that people often rev their stock lt1 to 6100. And that revving it to 7k isn't that difficult. Just the right heads and cam? If not than what's the highest I can get it to rev because the stock pcm still goes to 7k. Keeping in mind my pathetic budget.

the cam info will let you know the optimum max rpm. mine is rated to 6100. lloyd has the info on his cams. the bigest is rated to 6600 i think that one requires some extra work on the lower end.

im using le2 heads, those or a similar head should work for you and you wont have to do anything special to the block. le3 you gotta do some work to the lower end.
