If I can find the link I saw a month or so ago I'll post it, but essentially the switch needs to be adjusted... its going to take a little set of arms and patience, but its easy... after you get the 2 panels off under the steering wheel there are 4 nuts that hold the steering column up... 2 of them hold a brace thats under the column, and 2 of them hold the actual column... if you undo those two the column will drop, allowing you to see the switch and linkage from the top of the steering column... there are 2 bolts holding it where it is and it is set up to be adjusted... loosen the 2 bolts and slide the switch towards the steering wheel... i tested mine a few times to make sure i had the right pull on the switch... its not really hard, its just a pain to be able to loosen the 2 bolts on the switch itself...

its a factory service manual for a 93 camaro. i dont mess with the aftermarket books.
