Default High beams stuck on

I just got my 91 rs with the 305 that I gotfor my graduation on the road saturday and I LOOOOOOOOOVE it. Love it. But my high beams are stuck on now...they worked up until last night on my way home from work. The turn signal lever seems kinda worn out but how can I fix it?

Down towards the bottom of the column there is the high beam switch on the left side. You will see a rod going to it. It bolts to the ignition switch. It also is adjustable. If you can push on it and it clicks the lows on then it needs adjusting. If it wont click its worn and needs replace. You should see that switch near the brake pedal switchs
