Default Help to make faster

yes hello i have a 1995 camaro z28 ss with 5.7 Liter LT1 350 small block engine, Moser 3.73 Gears, 4L60E Trans with Shift Kit, Thermostat set at 160, XL 24pd Injectors, 58mm Edelbrock Throttle Body, Torque converter @ 2100, De screened MAF, Mid Length BBK Headers into a Super 80 Series Flowmaster Exhaust, Catalytic Converter is Eliminated, Barry Grant 125 Wet Shot of Nitrous, Tuner Decides on Rev limiter (usually at 6200 RPM), Shift points and Idle. I also have K&N Cold Air Intake and 1.6 roller rockers. Disable speed limiter, AIR and CCP codes with Power Tune. With the Tuner I have a Nitrous Tune as well as a Naturally Aspirated Tune.

The suspension consists of a 1.7" Drop with Eibach Sportline Performance Springs, Eibach Pro Damper Shock Absorbers, Eibach Anti Roll Kit Performance Sway Bars and reinforced frame. I have the car sitting on BF Goodrich G-Force Super Sport tires with about 95% tread left on Corvette C5 Rims ( 18 in the back and 17 in the front)

and was wondering what i could add to make faster

first off, you don't have an SS...and if you do, you should put it all back to stock because its the only 95 "SS" in existence. 96 and 97 were the only years the LT1 had an SS

now, as far as how to make your car faster. you have a pretty solid platform as it is. i'm afraid that your torque converter is too small to do anything to wicked with the cam as most want a 2800 stall converter.

you will probably also have to upgrade the injectors if you get too wild with a heads and cam package. i also see nothing about a y-pipe so i'm going to assume that is upgraded as well or that you went with true duals.

at this point i think you're looking at a heads and cam package, and for the customer service alone, i recommend lloyd elliott. he can tell you for sure what you're going to need to make his products maximized to their ability. depending on your power goals, i'd guess he'd be suggesting the LE2 heads with a solid cam to go with it. check his site out at

what heads and cam are on the motor? are they stock? whammer has it right look over elliotts site and get the le2 heads if u have stock on er now. if u want the best set up give him a call and let him know what u have. i would add 1 3/4x3 long tube headers. kooks would be the best but there are some good lower cost ones that will fill the bill.

Don't kid yourself Wham, they made 2 pilot SS cars at the very end of model year 1995...I'm pretty sure both are in an official Chevy museum now. Sooo...maybe he stole one

To the OP: You have a pretty good platform. I agree with Craby that some long tubes could benefit you. Other than that, as Whammer suggested, it looks like it's top-end time.
