i got 36lb injectors, do i need a different fuel regulator?
i know i should get my intake ported to match my 58mm tb, but can i use it stock for now? i know i can send it to llyod but i wanna get this together and ensure its runnin before i move.

is the opti on the 94z have to b driven by the cam? the motor I bought doesnt have a hole in the timing chain cover for that to b possible. the guy said he aint change anything and my stuff should bolt right on. but I'm pretty sure my opti is driven by the cam

All distributors, other than electronic distributors, are driven by the cam. But you don't have to use the opti. If I'm not mistaken, you can drill a hole through the back of the intake on an LT1 and use the old school style distributor. But seeing has your "new" engine doesn't have a place for the opti, I'm assuming it's built old school and use a rear mounted distributor, so check to see if there's a hole in the back of the intake.
Don't quote me on that though. Maybe someone else with more knowledge can shed light on this?

the motor in my car was changed out before i got it to a different year. now the motor i jus got is a 94 same as the car what do i need to change to make this work. my car is a 94 i think the motor was is a 95-96 that i pulled out. im puttin a 94 back in it. u can see the dirty motor is the one i jus pulled. i think i jus need to change the opti?

The newer (old) engine you took out uses the vented style opti. The replacement (94) engine you're putting in, correct for your year car, uses the old style opti. You need to get a different opti to fit that engine, they won't swap over. Also, that new engine has been modified to use an electric water pump. I can see the cam gear driven pump drive has been removed, and the hole is plugged with a nut & bolt (unless my eyes are playing tricks on me).

....As well as swapping cams from one engine to the other. Or, remove the 94 cam and get the smaller splined center hole machined to .500"dia. X 1.0625" deep, and replace the short dowel pin with the longer one. Also be sure to use the 95 style timing chain set. Otherwise, the new style opti ain't gonna connect to the 94 cam.
