Default Heater Core Replacement 94 Z28 ?

Has anyone tackled the Heater Core on a 1994 Camaro Z28 LT1 ?
Any advice before starting ?
I have the 2 Shop Manuals.

Also smell antifreeze inside the car only. Plus a fogged up winshield, inside with defrost on.

A heater core flush is going to make the leak worse. If you smell antifreeze inside the car, you got a leaker.

Just wanted to know if anyone has removed the heater core and if so, is there some things to be careful of before I start on mine. Thanks for any advice

Its really not that hard. I did it a few months ago. The glovebox comes out and then that panel further down from it. Then you need to open the plastic box that the actual heater core is in (which if you have a leak is most likely gonna have antifreeze in it. The hoses disconnect on the engine side of the firewall. Then you can wiggle the heater core out. Its gonna seem like it wont come out but there a certain angle and twist where it will slide out. Try and remember how exactly it comes out so you dont smash up the new one on the way in.
