Default Headlights

wondering if anyone knows where to get open headlamps that don't have bulbs glued in the headlight itself, i have a 95 camaro z28 if it matters

you can take the ones u have in your car now, and twist the old bulb out. a pair of vice grips do the job.

when you do that can you use regular replacement bulbs like newer cars?

I know right looks sick...looks like an SS hood with a chrome grill. You can get both separately from ebay or just look em up in Google shopping.

funny ya ask cause i been doin this all week. yeah just twist em out with a pair of channel locks or something then i glued the new ones in with jb weld and high heat sealant. just make sure the prong on the lights u take out match the prong (key) on the ones u buy....9004, 9005 or 9006 damn i cant remember and that was just yesterday. I bought some brand called nighthawk 90% better they say. Buy some paint too for the headlight buckets n frames since ur in there.

much cheaper that the hid conversion i might have to give it a shot

9006 for the low beams and 9005 for the highs.

great info on the bulb replacement guys.thanks.stinks paying $28 for a single headlight
