That post is pretty confusing to me. Are those Kooks model numbers or what?
Ok, I checked out Kooks website and found out what you're referring to. You won't need anything more than the 6400-s (for those of you who are interested the different model number correspond to different sized stepped primaries). In order to benefit from a header that has a stepped primary you're going to need to be pushing boat-loads of power. A 1 3/4 inch primary is the perfect size for a 350 CID motor unless you're pushing lots of HP or really high RPM's (in general you want to step up a primary size for every 1000 RPM over 6000, but you redline at 5700, so no worries there). Check out www.speed-eng.com they usually have better prices and often run sales on Kooks products.
