The only significant difference between 93 and 94 is that the auto trans shifts via the computer, where 93 foes not, and on 94, the 6 speed manual trans has a new feature for 94 called"skip shift, which allows you to save gas by shifting from 2nd to 4th gear and skipping 3rd. From everything I've ever read or heard. That's the only difference except of the option for convertible in 94. If I'm missing something, someone let me know.

93 is the last year to use the old style obd1, 94 95 have obd1 but are different. 93 has yellow trim on the dash ***** and gage markings are yellow so no other will match. the tach is driven by a different volt signal, the 93 is speed density, last year for that, last year for 700r4 in camaro, emmissions systems are different, im sure there are more.

Craby, I didn't know all those differences. The books I read all basiclly say theirs no difference. Do you care to elaborate on the differences between OBDI in 93 and OBDI in 94-95? I'd like to know the suttle differences. I guess that would be why each year auto trans has something different from year to year?

93 uses the memcal 94 95 does not. 94 is obd1 but is an odd system that can be a pain to tune or or can not be tuned, also tough to find scanner for trouble codes. 95 is obd1 with an obd2 plug and is tuneable, also can be difficult to get scanner to work on em.

Ty Craby. I have a 94Z and that is usefull info. I have the Innova 3140 scanner. Scans all obdI and II but that is good to know. So far, I've been able to pull all codes from the vehicle as needed. But I will look into what you stated so as to be more prepared the next time. Thnx

I run SLP headers on all my cars. They seem to produce the most hp when using the entire exhaust from them from headers to tailpipe. I know others have their preference. I'm just telling of my experience.
