when removing the exhaust manifold on the passenger side do I have to remove the AC first? I'm havin trouble removing the last two rear bolts and It don't look like jackin up tge motor will create any extra room to get to them.

The only thing you might need to remove is the alternator.

I did that to get to the front bolt but I can't get to the back bolts. everything else seemed pretty easy.

To get to the back bolts you need to jack the car up and crawl and get underneath it. You can reach the bolts from the back of the motor. Just work your hand up to them. Line yourself up right behind the rear exhaust manifold on the passenger side

It might be easier to get your hand up there if you take the starter off.

First, just try getting under the car right where the rear bolts on the manifold

are and see if you can reach them by hand..

When I did mine, i noticed that the rear two bolts on the manifold were loose......

Also ....make sure to take the dipstick off ....not hard to get to, you will need to remove the starter....There is one bolt holding it on....It will make it A LOT easier to get the manifold off and new piece on.

I got the pacesetter LT without the sensors. is there any bennefits from having them or not. I don't have a cat so emissions don't really matter. I jus wanna make sure I shouldnt have the sensors before I put these in tonight and it's to late to exchange them. Also i got the feltpro gaskets r they any good? that was the only up graded gaskets that jegs had n stock when I went.

You don't need the egr .... I have off road headers too...

Get percys seal for good gaskets..... Gaskets are really important, make sure you get percys.

I think you can get them from summit racing and they are about 40 dollars.... They work awesome.

There's no advantage to having the sensors or not... They are just for emissions. The egr actually shuts off at WOT..... So there is no benefit to have them or not have them.... They are just for emissions reasons.

are you talking about 02 sensors. they are needed to regulate fuel volume. if there are no 02's the computer will run in open loop all the time causing a rich condition.
