Dumb question, but I need 2 o2 extensions, right?

only if you want your o2 sensors hooked up

Whats the effect if I do not hook them up? I plan on having them tuned out soon anway, I didnt know if I had to do both.

I think the front O2 sensors are important to have working, but the back ones (after cats) are not. I think you'll be running rich if you're not getting proper readings from the fronts.

i got away with only extending one. the other was long enough.

So the extensions are for the fronts, and the cated y pipe deletes the backs?

So just because I misread sometimes, I only need to buy 1 o2 extension and my car will run fine?

i addded wire to mine, solddered the wires and shinkfit em. do you have 4? my 93 has 2. there are bungs for back 02s on my y pipe. i am thinking about putting a/f gage in and using them.

Im pretty sure they I have 4, but the y pipe deletes the back 2. But I dont feel like having to sodder anything. Do you mean you soddered extra wire to 1, and bought an extension for the other?

i didnt need to extend one, the other i extended the wire. thats when i had one wire 02s. i now have heated 02s (you already have) and they came with longer wires which didnt need extending. i had to run different wires for the heated ones anyways. with low voltage wires i try to always solder.
