About the 140 MPH..... I was out on a deserted stretch of road with one way in and a buddy at the end of it to make sure no one was on the road at all... So it wasnt in traffic or anywhere where there was anyone. Fastest I go on the freeway is 85...

Also, about the 1LE heads; I plan on going with the small "emissions friendly" cam. Do I need a tune/ upgraded fuel injectors and pump to handle the package? Thanks.

you will need to have it tuned for the cam. so long as your working with lloyd, ask and he will let you know the different ways you can go and what to expect.

I already emailed Lloyd about the heads, but I will ask here as well:

If I get just the heads and keep the stock cam, on top of the BBK shorties and GMMG catback, will I still need a tune and /or fuel system upgrades, and what kind of numbers am I looking at? I really am not looking to make more than 350 RWHP... or is there a better way to go about this. Mind you, the car has 196k on it. Highway miles and not driven hard, run Mobile 1 since 1997, etc... But still high miles... OR should I just go to the boneyard, get an LT1 (4 bolt) and build the @%&* out of it? I would LOVE to hear what you all have to say about it. Thanks a ton!

your almost to 350 at the crank now, or should be. le1 heads and 1.6 rollers would be good and reasonable as far as cost and difficulty. have you got a good cold air intake? check out these tuners, not to expensive and makes quite a difference. ive used both pcmforless and lt1pcmtuning and both are good, the latter being the less expensive and is what im running now.

Wait a minute... I thought LT1's made 265 HP in 1995... I have not gotten the headers or exhaust yet. My car is bone stock other than the little air silencer thing I pulled out. I have not even descreened the MAF yet... And getting more than 100 HP has got to be expensive...

How about this: I have a $2000 budget for exhaust and H/C/I. Is it possible to get from 235 RWHP to 350 RWHP with that budget? Thanks Craby!

ahh i thought you had the shorties and exhaust on it. actually the first 75 hp gain is the easiest and least expensive. depending on the stock tune and your add ons you can gain 20 with a good tune and in some cases gain mpg. get good exhaust and headers, cai and air foil (for in front of the tb). then have it tuned. youll be surprised. taking the screen outa the maf is overrated. just keep i clean.

Ok, what is your opinion on boosting the motor (turbo or supercharger)? Do you you think I have too many miles to go that route? Or will it just be easier to go with H/C/I given my HP goal? Thanks.
