governor on a 94 formula????????

remember im not talking about a '93 z28, i'm talking abouta '94 formula firebird. The speedo goes to 115 and the governor kicks in at around 105. what do i do to the formula?

The Formula has the same engine, computer, suspension, chassis as a Camaro, everything is the same 'cept the body pannels and interior. So you can either 1)swap out the PCM for one programmed by www.pcmforless.com or 2)purchase a Hypertech Power Programmer(or another brand) and reprogram the PCM yourself and nix it.

I have a governed 94 Z28 as well, and was just as frustrated when I figured out the formula’s/z28’s even came with governors… Just another way for the car companies to make money I guess... but personaly I would recommend Pcmforless, I have not yet personally done business with them but have a few buddies who have. Its cheaper than buying a programmer if I remember right, yet you’ll still get the gov removed… so I.M.O. go with pcmforless, its $50 compared to 100-200 maybe more I haven’t checked recently.
