As far as air/egr go, you lose some weight (like 7-8lbs) and the engine bay looks much cleaner without those ugly pipes running behind it.

Correct. Race headers will fit all years. I also would suggest going from the bottom if you can when doing these.

Darn, I was beat out.

Sweet. Gives me that warm, fuzzy feeling again. Haha.

Oh I see. Take the really easy way out! Guess that'd be a good idea though. Give you a chance to clean the engine up real nice and see if any other problems presented itself.

water pump, timing, opti, plugs, wires, throttle body (clean up), and headers.

Im also doing the LED lights, HID headlight upgrade, stubby antenna, new door seals, and anything else I can get away with. I want it to look stock and be completely different.

Tax refund... lol

The Pacesetter engineers didn't measure correctly when placing the outlet for the EGR pipe. It sits pretty far from the intake manifold and the EGR pipe tears easily when stretched to fit the gap. I eventually removed the whole system because it was filled with leaks.

I don't think any one knows...

I think most of us just rid ourselves of it when we did the install.

In my opinion, you can't really decide based off a pro/con. It mostly depends where you live that it may/may not become an issue. Technically speaking, it is against federal law to remove any type of emissions unless the vehicle is for off road use only. But the federal government has better things to do than go around and check every one's vehicle.

As far as pros/cons, it looks cleaner without it there. That's about it. Haha.
