Fuel and Ignition Problems
I have a 94 Camaro z28, it is a completely stock lt1 (for now) except for magnaflow exhaust (the typical Y's into one than splits into two out of the muffler). I got a new distributer put on and halfway through putting that on my fuel pump went out, so I had that replaced. And ever since then my car went from 19.7 and 20.4 mpg, to about 15.6 and I have also noticed a stutter. And i have also been noticing a very strong fumey exhaust smell when I like stop at a drive through. The mechanic that worked on my car did a tune up done to my car previously, new plugs wires and ignition coil. He says he thinks the fuel injectors are going out and it is leaking extra fuel and flood it self. what do you guys think?

what brand of opti was installed? check fuel pressure 4th Gen LT1 F-body Tech Articles may be to high. test evap https://camaroforums.com/forum/lt1-l...-system-51219/ have it scanned for trouble codes, if you can find a shop that can scann a 94, 94 seems to be a hard one to get scanned. its got a obd1 diagnostic setup but is wired different than any other year. make sure the plug wires were installed correctly and put in the correct places. look for any hoses or wires that may have been overlooked when it was being worked on.
