Front brakes are warped & ABS light is on..?
Im in the process of buying a 1993 Z28. The guy said the front brakes are slightly warped and the ABS light is on. How much do you think it would cost to get this fixed if I paid a mechanic to do it? I know I could change brake pads but Im not sure if thats the answer...

If the brake rotors are warped, new pads won't help. You will have to get new rotors or have the old ones machined. Seriously warped rotors can cause the ABS light to go on. If the ABS light is still on after you fix the mechanical problems, get the car scanned with an ABS scanner and see what the complaint is about. Much cheaper and easier than throwing parts to the problem.
i bet it's got a speed sensor out, so you'd need a new front hub for that, about $180 bucks from gmpartsdirect.com. And you can get some new crossdrilled/slotted rotors and pads for under 200 all around from JC Whitney or even some companies on ebay have some good stuff.
