i just switched to mobil 1 synthetics in my motor and differential. i wanted to use it in my transmission but i did a little research and found that using synthetics in a stock borge warner will damage the paper rings inside? it makes no sense to me. i know that my tranny was rebuilt from the previous owner about two years ago and I'm assuming they didn't replace the paper crap with carbon fiber.so......? does anyone know if the claims are true????
