Oh that sucks....I bought one off a running car....A friend at the parts store knew a guy...lol, So we went over and I bought it and the guy took it off....I never paid any atten.t to it He was parting it out since it was totalled from the rearend.

So there no way to rig it up just to check to see if that was my prob? If it proved to be my prob Id go buy a new one.

Well, I went to work and cut the old bracket off, and made one to wrap around it so it wouldnt move....but anyways...

With the stock one on, my fuel pressure went from 25-30 to 37-40. and it hold the fuel pressure for a will when it shut off. Guess Im gonna buy a new FPR. Now when I remove the vaccum line off the pressure goes up alittle, is that normal?

and at idle its at 38-39 lbs, and if I rev it to about 3-4000 it drops to about 30lbs, how quickly should it rebound back to normal?

when you throttle up the pressure should go up to 40-42 lbs. something is goin on. fuel pump or fpr or injector. the used fpr may be getting tired.

It would drop with the accel regulator also...i drove it down the road....done good....idled good...didnt flood as....but after 3 gears of hard throttle it, when I tried to give it some throttle it acted like it was running out gas....it could be...but that could be from pressure droppage also, right?

are the pumps in line or is there two pickups? you may have air getting in there or if in line one pump interfering with the other. oh and you may be running out of gas. lol that might be the most expensive fix
