ok so the big hing here is what is the specs of the cam mild does work i have a 510 510 at 278 thats mild but to big for the stock springs os really any cam over the stock one the springs have to be changed also i would go with a 1.5 roller rockers cuz the 1.6 will wear the vavle guides out unless the valves are cut at an angle

now here is where the problem lies, i bought the car already built so i have no idea what cam is in it and my mechanic says it a huge job to pull them out and check. so if i used the stock valves with my spings, it would save alot of headaches? the car is a 95

how many miles are on the car? the valves SHOULD be okay, but a high mileage engine would make me start wondering

have your mechanic check the specs of the old springs to find out what size springs u need then you just buy them and run the stock valves thats what im doing with mine right now
