Default Exhaust Question

Hey guys, I'm new to the Camaro family, I traded a '00 Chevy S10 Xtreme for a '93 Z28. I got the screw end of the deal because the guy lied about some of the stuff on the car.

My brother looked at the car, and said that I'm going to need a new exhaust system from the headers back because the system the previous owner had on, the tubing has holes in it and the holes are rusting pretty bad. What kind of system would you guys recommend?

Thanks!

I would like to spend around $400-$500 on the kit. One more quick question, what kind of headers would you guys recommend?

I'm leaning toward the Hooker headers and exhaust.

You'll never find a decent set of headers and cat-back for that price. If you can spend that on each individual piece we can start talking. I believe most people here like the Magnaflow system, but the cat-back is really what you like the sound/looks of. Your best choice in headers is probably Kooks. Dynatech makes a nice product also. If you're not looking to spend quite that much you may want to think about Pacesetter. They don't quite have the same quality as the above mentioned, but they're not a bad choice, especially for the price.
