im thinking about doing exhaust to my camaro, and i just want to put headers on it, and have a 3" pipe going out the back from each header. is this possible? i dont care how loud it is; i just want power

 

most places will say no, due to lack of room, unless you pound the muffler to oval it out wich looks nasty,

most all header kits come with y pipes, but ive seen it done in H pipe X pipe, but never straight out of the headers no muffler at all, you wont have enoughback pressure, wich means theres not enough pressure inthe exhaust system to properly close the exhaust valves.

I know it can be done with with 2.5 inch pipesbut 3" may be stretching it.
