i have long tube headers so i dont have my egr going to anything, so can i just rip the pump and everything else off and be done with it?? thanks guys i have one friend whos telling me that no matter what ill have to get custom mapped if i dont have my egr hooked up and it will run like ****?

 

would be a good idea to have the ecu tuned for the missing egr and whatever else has been done. heres a couple places that do a good job. yes you can take the air pump out. you will get a ses light though untill the pump and egr are tuned out.
