Default Edelbrock headers tubular exhaust system

i have seen posts on every header setup except the edelbrock headers tubular exhaust system. Is this a good setup for a 1997 camaro z28?

Hey craby,
Where did u find that lt1's dont like edelbrock products, and exactly wat did u hear about them that lt1's dont like? I had a header i bought from Summit a year ago that i never used n they are willing to let me send it back to them for a store credit (about $330) and i want to use that to put towards my 97 z28 six speed. I want something nice so i dont mind forkin out a lil more cash on top of that $330...but i HAVE to buy through summit, cuz that' where the store credit is at. I dont want long tube headers cuz here in Cali there are alot of speed bumps and clearance issues where i live. I hear BBK's arent to good.

edelbrock is considered "edeljunk" on our cars...at least their heads are.

i forget what brands summit sells off the top of my head, but i'm pretty sure they sell pacesetter and i'd just go with them if it were me

the edelbrock shorty headers do not flow very much better than the stock exhaust, the heads can be easily outperformed by a p and p on the stock heads and the same can be said about the intake. its not that they dont help performance, its just not as good as they should and can be outperformed by other means for the same price or less.

ok...i think im just gonna bite the bullet and just get a the long tubes cuz i am lookin for performance and it seems that pacesetter long tubes r where its at as far as performance and all that summit really has as far as performance. Maybe they have mids, i gota check and see. Thanks Craby...thanks Whammer!!!!
