Default Eating Waterpumps

ok heres the deal ive got a 94 z and i have gone through 3 water pumps in 5000 miles. Every water pump has lasted me about 3 weeks then i start to get an antifreeze leak. after the second one i replaced all of the heater hoses. , but i can't find anywhere it is leaking from. Also the car never leaks until i am driving the car if i just let the car idle in the driveway it doesnt leak. I was wondering if there was a common problem with this with lt1's or if I've got some major issues. The only other thing i can thing off would be a bad head gasket but then the engine only has 30,000 miles on it. Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

Check your radiator cap and the overflow tank. Coolant when heated expands and flows into the overflow tank, and then gets sucked back into the radiator when the engine cools down. A malfunction in this part of the system can cause loss of coolant. The LT1 water pump (from GM) is a pretty reliable part so you shouldn't be having to change them for at least 70K miles.
