Default Eagle Rotating Assembly Crank has a Key, but My Hub Shaft Dont..

hey im doing a stroker build and went to install my hub over the crank and noticed that the stroker crank is notched and has a key in it and my stock hub isent slotted for it.. do i have to buy a aftermarket setup? i dont really want to knock the key out and install it with just the bolt in the middle because to me that seems like it could do some slipping over time..anyone know if im suposed to buy a aftermarket hub and if so do you know what kind is slotted?

The ATI superdamper is keyed/// All aftermarket cranks will have a keyway in them..you dont need to worry about that, the stock balancer will be fine if you dont lubricate it to get it on. Just make sure it is dry and that the bolt is torqued and use loctite. I had one spin on me, you will know if it happens, feels like you just freed some hp.

you can get a slotted key if you need it. also put hub in boiling water and heat it up first and itll go on easier. dont boil the balancer part. need to wear gloves. remember to point the arrow up with the motor at tdc.
