i have never changed mine but on other cars i have done the cap just pops of and the rotor will unscrew or pull off, but the reason i posted is wondering how many miles u have on the car, if you havnt already bought the cap and rotor you might want to buy a whole new distributor from somewhere like summitracing they come with a new cap and rotor with the distributor.

You need to pull the radiator and fans, remove the acc. belt, water pump, and crank pulley. You now should be able to get to the distributor. I am sure I forgot a few little things but that's the basics.

i jus changedmy opti spark to a msd. i love it and itgives a hotter spark at that. it was fairly simple. i didn't remove the radiator, just the waterpump altinator and and hoses. it was pritty easy easy from the bottom to replace. if anyone hasany questions on the opti spark and transremovel. let me know, im willing to lend advice..... so hit me up. ttyl
