My parts are top quality. In regards to stock stuff thank you. If I had some gasoline available than I would actually drive it! Everything is made overseas now. It's just cheaper, makes sense, then they are checked for quality.

Looks like your engine has about $2400 in the crank/rods. I have about $1100 for 4340 forged so with that I will be able to balance and machine and still be ahead!

china's quality checking isn't half as strict as what the american companies do. but you can go on thinking your motor is better than mine. i really don't mind one bit

Please, if they let an American firearms company like Lorcin produce guns, then I can only imagine what is on the market today. I don't need 1500 dollar rods!

i wouldn't say you needed 1500 dollar rods...i wouldn't even say you need a 900 dollar crank...but if putting a bottom end together that you want to last, i'd use brands that people know of and have a good track record. crank-callies, cola, scat, eagle, ohio....

My crank is a SUN DF. and my rods are ProComp. I am happy with my purchases. Although I did see my rods for about four hundred somewhere else! And anyways the engine builders get all the good stuff, they will not sell to private citizens.
