Its definitely not lacking in torque, but the peak torque is higher up in the RPM. The LT1 likes to rev!

well guys i knows its been awhile since i was on here thnx for all the help i figured out the issue i had a half blown 4l60e

just get cutouts, a good catback and headers, the drone gets bad on long drives with a good flowing exhaust, with straight pipes youll hate life in about an hours on the HW

Really? My dad owns a '66 Plymouth Satellite, 318 SB, headers, straight exhaust with glass packs only and I LOVE the sound it makes at idle and when cruising!

Spark Plugs and wires
O2 Sensors
ICM
Coil
Also make sure you are getting 41-47 PSI of fuel at the Schrader valve with the car off.

even with the tranny fixed, do the above list asap.
